LA TOUR DEL FAR

This Saracen tower was used as early as the 10th century to transmit signals by fire at night and by smoke during the day in order to protect itself from barbarian attacks or from its northern neighbour Nicknamed "the spy of Roussillon", it can be seen from the eastern plain to the Cathar castles.
