PONT GISCLARD OU PONT DE CASSAGNE
The bridge was built from 1905 to 1908 by Ferdinand Arnodin's company, according to a design conceived in 1896 by the engineer commander Albert Gisclard. The latter died on 31 October 1909 in a railway accident during load tests, which cost the lives of five other people. The bridge was thus named after its designer.
