VILLE FORTIFIEE DE PRATS-DE-MOLLO-LA-PRESTE

This village, classified as one of France?s most beautiful villages, is split in two by the Guillème torrent, which runs through it at right angles. On one side, the lower town is home to old bourgeois houses, a church, a 17th-century townhouse and shops. Steep streets and winding lanes lined with narrow houses give the upper town, once dominated by the "royal castle", a special charm.
