LE LAC DES BOUZIGUES

Observation of the fauna and flora... A wooded and preserved area, the Bouzigues lake is an artificial lake of 9 ha. It has been developed as a walking area with a 2.5 km path, and is also an ideal place for fishing. The lake is fed by the Têt river, thanks to an irrigation canal of Bouzigues dating back to 1855 which used to irrigate 23 ha of cultivated land in gardens rich in alluvial deposits from the river
