LE CHAOS DE TARGASONNE

Located between Dorres and Font-Romeu, the chaos of Targasonne offers a landscape of granite blocks facing south. On a slope of 1500 m of altitude, composed of more than 1000 enormous boulders, the stone cutters of Dorres and Angoustrine formerly took the granite which they cut on the spot. Today, this glacial heritage is a delight for climbers.
