RESERVE NATURELLE DE PY

Created on 09/17/1984 3930 hectares The 3930-hectare Py Nature Reserve is part of the central Pyrenean chain between the Canigou massif and the Costabona massif. In terms of geology, two particularities stand out: - carbonate and basic rocks in the lower zone, as well as marble and limestone. - three roughly parallel bands of bulk quartz.
