ABBAYE DE SAINT MARTIN DU CANIGOU
In the heart of the Canigou massif, on an eagle's nest, the ancient Benedictine abbey of Saint Martin has been discreetly overlooking the valley since the 11th century and lets the delighted walker discover its unique site. The Lombard bell tower, the abbey church and the vaulted crypt make it a jewel of the first regional Romanesque art. Access to the site: guided tours only
