PRIEURE NOTRE DAME DE RIQUER

The church of Ste-Marie de Riquer is mentioned as early as the 10th century. The building was rebuilt in the 11th century. The building has undergone few modifications since 1073. The church is listed as a historic monument, and its south portal is decorated with frescoes, probably dating from the second half of the 12th century. Every summer, the chapel hosts the Rencontres culturelles de Riquer. Visits by appointment.
