CHÂTEAU SAINT-PIERRE DE FENOUILLET
The castle of Fenouillet is the only one in the department that served as a refuge for heretics during the crusade against the Albigensians. After the treaty of Corbeil-Barcelona in 1258, it was not transformed into a royal fortress, like the other castles known as "cathar". We discover here, the ruins of the feudal castle.
